An artisan bakery and curated market on Rt 284, where every loaf is fermented slowly, every pantry staple is chosen deliberately, and nothing arrives without a story.
Friends Gourmet Market began with a simple conviction: that the best food doesn't need explanation — it needs attention. We open our ovens before sunrise so the bread is fresh when you walk in.
Our bakery produces sourdough, viennoiserie, and seasonal pastries using stone-ground flour, wild yeast starters, and locally sourced dairy. The market beside the ovens carries olive oils, aged cheeses, preserved goods, and pantry items we'd actually keep in our own kitchen.
Everything we sell is something we'd serve to friends. That's the only standard we keep.
Seasonal rotations, daily bakes, and carefully chosen provisions for your table.
72-hour cold-fermented loaf with a crackling crust and open, tangy crumb. Baked twice daily from our original starter.
Croissants, pain au chocolat, and fruit tarts made with French butter and local eggs. Rotating with the seasons.
Small-batch olive oils, aged cheeses, cured meats, preserves, and specialty salts — items we recommend because we use them.
Every decision in our kitchen and shop is guided by one question: would we serve this to friends?
Our sourdough ferments for 72 hours, developing complex flavor and improving digestibility without additives or accelerators.
We know the mill, the dairy, and the orchard. Every ingredient carries a name and a location on our shelf tags.
Ovens fire at 4 a.m. so the bread is fresh, warm, and at its best when we open — never day-old or reheated.
A gathering place in Westtown. We sponsor local events, source from neighboring farms, and treat every customer like a regular.
Morning light, flour dust, and the rhythm of a working bakery.
